CASCADE Seed Funding Proposals 

CASCADE has just completed their most recent round of seed funding for research project proposals. This time around, the competition was awarded to four teams looking to advance the state of art in one or more of data engineering technical challenges.  (More)

CASCADE and CARTA Consortium

The consortium brings together a critical mass of inter-disciplinary researchers from the two CASCADE institutions ASU and UMD and our partners UMBC, Rutgers, and NCSU,  and industry to innovate towards key enabling data technologies, which will have transformative impacts on major national and international challenges. Dash.org sponsors Blockchain Lab at ASU/CASCADE 

CASCADE has  created a “Blockchain Research Lab” to work on blockchain technology and teach about its possibilities. Dash.org, digital currency network, is sponsoring initial research which is focusing on blockchain scalability, best practice, network architecture, environmentally -friendly mining, latency and throughput. (More)
